I don’t know of it’s bad writing or what but I keep zooming out and not finishing my footing in the scenes. Like where am I? Who’s taking? Why? Very little context to ground the reader in the story and what is happening. Too much internal dialogue too.

Considering this is not her first or even fifth book, you’d expect better writing. But this is awful.
