Skipped this one at first to read Tithe -> Ironside and continue Kaye’s story instead. So far, am enjoying the plot and I like Val (but less so than Kaye and Corny). I like seeing different kinds of fae/creatures than we see in the other books (particularly the run-in with the troll) and a human character thrust into the faerie world w/o interacting with the actual courts (at least for half the book).
