The Raft by S.A. Bodeen has a quick turn of events already. The main character, Robie is going back to her family after visiting her aunt. Robie flies alone and this is where it goes wrong. She gets into a terrible plane crash that leaves her and other stuck on a raft in the middle of the ocean. Resources are starting to get scarce as time goes on. "My stomach growled, so empty it almost hurt" (Bodeen 62).

The Raft by S. A. Bodeen, is starting to pick up even more pace. Robie is all alone on the raft until she made it to a small island. "I just had to lie there. Lie there and bleed to death. Lie there and Die" (Bodeen 170). Robie has so motivation to keep going alone. I predict at the end that she is going to be saved.
