The duchess was the one who kidnapped Gigi, Slate and Eve because she wanted the game to have a certain outcome (Rohan not winning) and because she wanted the watcher which is Calla to take the bait. What the hell? What about Alice? I don’t understand a thing about this book to be honest.

This was one underwhelming finale ngl 🥲 Savannah won, the game makers aren’t there (because Avery was taken). Can we talk about how Oren’s security team is SHIT? I mean what the hell, everyone knew the game’s location, everyone could enter and leave the island whenever they wanted and didn’t Oren stay with Avery 24/7? What’s his excuse? Anyways.

I honestly don’t get where all of this information fit. Alice Hawthorne, Eve, Rohan drowning, Calla Thorp, Calla lilies, Knox and Alisa (spoiler)… This story is not very interesting to be honest, except for Grayson and Lyra kissing twice of course! 😌
