it is infuriating for me, as a reader, with no personal affiliation to the victim, to read that a man was acquitted of the rape and assault of his first wife to then do the same to his second partner but to then murder her as well. if the justice system had served its purpose the first time, a woman would be alive today. i can't imagine the outrage of her family and his first victim.
