“I have told you all this about the soul’s interior life and your salvation to make you fall in love with my providence and clothe yourself in the light of faith and firm hope. Thus you will free yourself of selfishness and, in all that is yours to do, trust in me without any slavish fear.” Jesus to Catherine of Siena
