Back at Hunsford, Lady C referred to Collins in less than stellar names. He in turn preached a blasting sermon regarding the rich [w/o consulting her on its content]. When she sent for him, he had a previous engagement and wouldn't come. She threw a bitch-fit, destroying things, turned over a table and made a mess of things. It was bad.

This anger thing has taken on a life of its own. Lydia acted badly in front of Darcy and Bingley. Jane jerked her out and told her off. Lydia wouldn't believe her. Bingley finally had to tell her the truth of what the officers really said about her. That had to hurt. Mr. Bennet told off Mrs. Bennet. Mrs. Bennet finally decided there needed to be changes with the younger girls. ODC exchanges letters.

Wow, what happened? By the end of chapter 3... it had an epilogue and I was afraid it had ended or something. The love that dare not speak its name was mentioned, four deaths and five births were listed... lawd... what the crap? This is so strange.

This story seems to deal with anger. While Jane was ill, Lizzy blasted Caroline [oh it was good]. Bingley blasted Caroline [even better]. Darcy blasted Wickham [oh it was excellent]. Mr. Bennet blasted Collins [too easy] and called him an idiot. Poor Collins didn't even realize why everyone was mad.
