I never DNF a book but I’m afraid I can’t finish this one.
I’m 250 pages in and so bored, I don’t even want to finish.
I love historical fiction usually, I’ve read many books and am well educated on the series of events that played out in the Second World War.
the queens voice is so woe is me, whilst still living a life of such comfort, so far removed from the everyday experiences of her people. It’s dreadful.
