What isn’t true?
That you’re not good enough for me.
So why the fuck are you here then? Why are you talking to me? You don’t know what you want from me, from life? I don’t think you know a damn thing.
I know exactly what I want.
Then why not take to then?
Because what I want has never had anything to do with anything.
For me it is always had everything to do with it!

Ok I don’t normally say this but I think watching the show on Prime BEFORE reading this will actually boost the likability of this book. The series is following the book pretty well and having those actors forefront concretes the book better for me actually. I think the complete opposite about My Oxford Year. I read the book and watched the movie and prefer book over movie hands down. Movie isn’t even needed.

I watched the tv series first and the book is similar so they did a good job keeping the tone. I can picture the actors as these characters.
