What isn’t true? That St. Hilda’s isn’t good enough for you? That I’m not good enough for you? Because your parents want something else for you? Yay you only ever do what they want instead of actually thinking for once on what you want for life. You’re such a coward.

Ok I don’t normally say this but I think watching the show on Prime BEFORE reading this will actually boost the likability of this book. The series is following the book pretty well and having those actors forefront concretes the book better for me actually. I think the complete opposite about My Oxford Year. I read the book and watched the movie and prefer book over movie hands down. Movie isn’t even needed.

I watched the tv series first and the book is similar so they did a good job keeping the tone. I can picture the actors as these characters.
