There has been a lot subverting expectations but I love the care, how the company of Detective Nick is really showing up. Nick actually cares and has a lot of interest in being with Finlay’s family. He thinks of activities that they would both enjoy like toppling down Feliks Zhirov! I love how Finlay is scared for her life with how things went down in the Forum. I wasn’t sure what happened but yeah.

I really like how the book deals with other dimensions of divorce and relationship dynamics and what works best in theory and practice. This the most odd thing I have read. It’s humorously embarrassing! I love the tension and the bringing of Finlay’s recounting. The awkwardness and the way Vero and Finlay do a verbal reminder jab is very only reader discretion is lol. Steven’s displeasure is getting way worse!

The underhanded comments Vero The way that her mom suggests a government job is ironic as that is the last thing that Finlay wants The way that her mother doesn’t see the benefit of a job that allows for flexibility and ease of living (not always lol Her mother is typical. Finlay likes researching and her “date” with Nick was rather interesting. The way fighting to rid evil in different manners and moral codes.

The way that Finlay gets to investigate Vero is most interesting. I’m getting like oh no whiplash. Does Vero have something deeply secretive to hide? Like despising Steven? Probably notThe word entitlement is something that’s been a prominent theme in this book because Finlay is slowly discovering and also honing the skills of detective work that deepen her knowledge of writing compelling characters No write-busy

Daaaammn. This was a great pace. I like how the mother in Finlay organizes stuff to go her way without making it obvious she is looking for trouble. The action and stakes get higher and more mysterious. Now involving Theresa is so interesting. Finlay Donovan why are you teaming up with her or sharing info on how you know things u shouldn’t know. The dating dilemma with family friendly; who to trust is a big issue.

Finlay spends a lot on services from another teenager Cam, who has knowledge of technology and could’ve been simpler to ask online but he delivers the facts at a BIG cost. It can be draining the bank for Finlay but she really doesn’t care all that much

Finlay’s adventures takes her to get a technical tech position where she isn’t burdened by tracking via the Internet. She’s always has to outsmart and play and deceive for complicated reasons. The scene is rather um unsettling, funny and interesting to say the least. Not every teenager is that but it can make sense. Ironic a tech store isn’t very techy. I guess… is Elle Cosimano remarking on an experience?

Finlay is in a position of power. She is asked by Nick to go out & share her life with him. She is plausible not able to void her self pleasing behaviors. When I saw Aimee’s backstory (maybe perhaps she is a culprit on this). She comes out of nowhere to get in favor with Delia. She’s seems sweet and harmless but she says there’s evil in Finlay. Everyone has a perspective and it could be valid yet it cannot be too

Adults are very sometimes slightly unsatisfied with their lives. They live out fantasies in their head. And the way that there is yearning from Detective Nick towards Finlay. I find Finlay is more interested towards her lawyer boyfriend, who is more up her alley. The way she yearns for him is kind of reasonable and also insane-ish. Ok… I really like the book’s atmosphere. Pacing is decent unless u stop yo write.

This book shows how Steven wants for Finlay to give her a chance for her children to be his- there is trouble with the bad guys. The way that Finlay gets reckless because she is running out of time to save her questionable husband.& reckless because she couldn’tmeet the deadline for her second book. She improvised yet she experienced this herself. She can’t imagine she is getting her pain into the art. Nick’s back

I can see the moral dilemma of how Finlay knows but has a paradoxical choice to make with Steven and the variables of their children and the way lifestyles change and how he is coming to beg to have his children like Fin originally did. Now, she has immense power and opportunities and opinions from others. It’s really interesting seeing this thematic play out. I like the pacing. It really has multiple good scenes.
