I just want to say I really wanted like this book but after that last chapter this book isn’t getting a rating higher than a 2.5. Because wtf was that, the emotional rollercoaster I just went through was not worth it and now I’m questioning why I didn’t dnf it earlier. The only reason why I am finishing it is because I have a small amount of hope that the ending will be at least tolerable.

At this point, I am little frustrated. How are we this far into the book without a confirmed suspect? There are 5 chapters left in this book and I am so confused about how it is going to end and who actually killed Freddie.

I swear this better not be a fucking love triangle or I will dnf this book rn. Emersyn make up your mind please, also I feel like the plot is drifting further and away from the story and things are making less sense.

I understand Emersyn’s apprehension about getting to know Wyatt but I feel like if she would forgive herself for past relationships mistakes she made and moved on she would find that he is actually a good guy for her. Side note I do not like that detective how dare he pursue Emersyn as a suspect instead of looking for the real killer, he is so useless.

So the suspect list is growing as well as the tension between Wyatt and Emersyn. This is getting interesting, I look forward to seeing them explain themselves to Theo lol 😂😂😂. I will say though that Hoffman is definitely at the top of my suspect list.

Man I really hope things start to look up for Emersyn, she is a great aunt and you can tell her niece really loves her. The way her mom acted in the last chapter is so manipulative and wrong, I hope Emersyn puts her in her place. Also it’s very important to me that Emersyn gets her money back from her ex, especially since he is now a suspect of murdering Freddie.

I’m glad that Emersyn finally got off her high horse and accepted that she needs Wyatt’s help. I think they will work very well together, especially since Wyatt seems to know what he is doing and he is very funny. I am intrigued to see who they add to their list of suspects.

First impressions of Wyatt, I will say I’m intrigued by him and I wonder if he happens to have any expertise in solving crimes.

I really hope that Jemma’s plan to get Emmersyn’s money back works. There is no way her evil ex can get away with what he did.
