Growing to trust Lara’s sincerity more, which ironically makes me even more skeptical of her. The interaction with Drakul was an interesting tease, very curious to see him fit into the whole “star-born” mystery. Daniel rocks, Bear rocks, and the second shade conversation was realllllly rough.

Definitely agree with folks commenting on how our-of-format this one is. Really digging the jumping through time and getting to inch our way through Dresden and crew’s grief and processing. Glad just about everyone has had a chance to debrief w/ Harry, Michael’s convo in particular hit me. AND EVERY SCENE WITH MAGGIE MAKES ME WANNA SOB WITH JOY.

Best opening so far I think “Pain is a fire… If you’ve never had to stand in that fire, be patient. Your turn is coming.” Can’t think of a harder Dresden open than that. Also shoutout to Wild Bill getting a mention early on, I knew harry wouldn’t forget about his Ol’ Boy Bill, Dallas represent! I know his shade is Yee Haw’ing his way into Murphy Sr.’s dept., no doubt.
