Ok, The Fool "as the ultimate codependent" and "pushing us forward, away from complacency" is highly relevant to the work of Robin Hobb and also Fitz's character flaws, thank you very much.

This chapter on opening the heart I need to reread with my eyeballs 😭 she talks about queer and gender non conforming children and it's nothing 'new', but it's just beautifully written.

I love this book so much and Rachel Pollack is an amazing storyteller, with clarity and kindness and creativity. I feel like she is the perfect intro to tarot for me :D

This chapter on how and why tarot readings work is so good! Pollack discusses theories ranging from quantum entanglement to Taoism 😅
