Listening to this on audio and really enjoy the characters and plot. Narrators Emily Sutton-Smith , Alan Smyth do an excellent job with this story. Wish I could find more mystery/suspense with smart characters.

I like the characters so far they are interesting. They story has a lot to do with the death of Brooke's husband a year ago (which we have not learned the details of at this point). She left the FBI and blames and blames herself.
She is pulled back in as the Governor of Kentucky is probably being targeted for murder and we learn he is her dead husband's brother.
