Jace told Clay that his father was alive and what hodge told him was a lie. Valentine was his father. Jace doesn’t know that clary’s father is also Valentine…

Okay so Luke was leader somewhere near Idris. Anywho, it seemed that valentine didn’t know about Clary. This whole chapter was Luke yapping about the past. Much needed too

In the book, Luke is already the leader of the pack. Different from the show. Luke showing up to save Clary from Hodge is new too. Clary finding out Luke is a werewolf is not. I’m excited to hear the “whole” story that Luke is talking about

HODGE DID IT! He betrayed everyone by giving the cup to Valentine. He summoned him by using Jace’s ring. He gave him the cup in exchange for the curse on him to be broken. Valentine gave Hodge something that will end the curse that makes him soo scared all the time. Valentine looked at an unconscious Jace;“ he’ll be with his father soon, where he belongs.” How was Jace left unconscious?¿

Going back to madam Dorothea’s house was very different. She was possessed by a greater demon and the fight scene was so much different. No mention of Bach or music frequencies like the movie. Simon to the rescue too! Then have not understanding he’s falling for Clary. THEN Hodge started acting weird once he saw the cup. THEN had Hugo try to attack Clary!

Idr when in the movie this happened but the phrase is taken right of the book :)

Jace: unfortunately, lady of the haven, my one true love remains myself

Dorthea: at least you don’t have to worry about rejection, Jace Wayland

Jace: not necessarily. I turn myself down occasionally, just to keep it interesting

AHHHHH THE BEST SCENE IN THE MOVIE!! It was taken word for word from the book!!
Jace: in the future Clarissa, it might be wise to mention that you already have a man in your bed, to avoid such tedious situations
Simon: you invited him into bed?
Jace: ridiculous, isn’t it? We would never have all fit.
Clary: I didn’t invite him into bed. We were just kissing.

Jace wants to celebrate Clary’s birthday with her a little early. AND HE’S TAKING HER TO THE GREENHOUSE!!!!!

The clary and Alec fight!!! Alec had some truth to his argument but shouldn’t blame Clary for Jace’s decisions. Clary’s got some fire to her. She really clapped back at Alec and told him that he’s just jealous of Jace’s attention to her and basically outed him as gay. He slammed her against the wall and swore he’d kill her if she tells Jace. But their oaths are different. I wonder if this will play out

Flying motorcycles is crazy. Then crashing it at sunrise was intense. I could sense the Jace went to rush to her side after the fall but was hurt to see Clary’s affection towards Simon who recently transformed back into a human. Clary’s pov in the book makes it seem like she has some feelings for him that aren’t portrayed in the movie. She’s jealous of Simon’s attraction to Isabella too
