This is... a bit esoteric. Very accessible at a writing style level, but I'm not sure I care about the philosophical matters being interrogated. Going to give it maybe another chapter to see if it sinks teeth into something that fires me with interest.

I don't think this is great as a history but I think it's brilliant at poking holes in the assumptions we make.

I am torn.
