i’m officially halfway. very staccato, choppy writing but it’s fine for me. the show has mostly been following the book so there aren’t any surprises but i’m still surprised by how charmed i am. this is not a bad book but im not sure what the star rating will be, since im kinda spoiled

my copy has less pages than this goodreads one and i thought i should be accurate as i get closer to the end of the book. show is very faithful but there are some added scenes im enjoying. love watching characters pine if it’s not too annoying, you know?

i have started. the writing isn’t abysmal but i hired that shouldnt be a shock since this book was a cult classic. also learned that reid is not the author’s legal last name. maybe when i write my book i can be “madison murphy” or something instead. flows better
