This reminds me of Ne Zha where the lore is super deep and theoretically interesting but the actual events that I’m watching feel odd and random

As a reader the idea that you’re going to introduce goofy looking flying monkeys and then have them be the main antagonistic force for upwards of 50 pages at this point is ridiculous to me

I imagine the scene where Jessyn returns to the lab being much like Troy walking back into the apartment after getting the pizzas in community

There sure is a lot of species lore in this one
