I was shocked when it was revealed that Sue was actually the one who was being tricked. I am now in the perspective of Maud and I am so held in suspense I can barely focus on the chapters, just desperately trying to get back to the current following of Sue & Maud.

I’m really loving the storytelling so far. I have a fond attachment to the main characters and I like the “family” dynamics that have been built up. I hated the part where the character John was introduced, talking about how he mistreated dogs— I was finding myself actually pissed off by his character, which was intended and well done by the author.
