you guys, I am absolutely flawed. Wow! Mabel's backstory let alone her family dynamic is so Sylvia Plath.

Usually, I would be irritated when authors try to encompass the protagonist's past and present life but Sally does such a good job that I do not feel the slightest inclination to be mad. It is to be said, that this book is worth the price, for Mabel is not only a relatable character but her childhood deems to have impacted her personality and present status. Worth the read, enjoying every second.

In spite of starting this book only yesterday evening, I feel inclined to say this before I presume my reading. First of all, this writing style is flawless - my favourite by far alongside Margaret Atwood. Funny, dark, witty, sarcastic humour is my absolute favourite. You can never go wrong with some suspense, some raw and real references and most importantly, some inclination to relate to your readers. Perfection...
