It’s not that I’m bored. Like I’m having a fine time. It’s ancient shadow daddy meets super special girl who doesn’t know she’s the prettiest girl on the planet and doesn’t have a fully developed frontal lobe yet. It’s the base of all romantasy and it’s fine… I’m just kinda bored. Also the setting in a fictional version of New Orleans feels unnecessary

I think my issue is that while the story is fine, it might be a little better if it was in 1st person instead of 3rd. There’s a detachment from what’s happening that is making it a little boring.
