Past the halfway mark where so far no one is really an anarchist; they're just a surprise kindred spirit to go to the pub with. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure I'm not understanding what's meant, but I've decided not to care and just enjoy myself. Otherwise this book would be kicked straight to the curb.

I really need to focus on my reading comprehension. If there's any deeper meaning in these chapters, I'm not the one to see it.

Up to this point, we meet the whole Central Council of Anarchists. A bunch of devils, IMO. At least that's the way Syme describes them.

Okay so that was a lot of back and forth over who/why/what was the man Thursday. Again, the writing is engaging and fun, so all is not lost.

I am sure that I don't know what these two fools are on about, but I'm enjoying the writing. It feels playful and fun. Chesterton has a thing for alliteration and that gives the text a poetic feel, which fits the topics of chapter 1, something about poetics being the same as anarchy. Uh okay, I'll bite. Onward.
