There is not a lot of time dedicated to setting the tone of a scene imo. One moment we are just walking in silence and the next we are arguing...? but i didnt even know that we were arguing until the end because there was no note of the emotion or the tone of the scene. Just me? Maybe. but i feel like this book is giving me whiplash
