Ch. 8–18 This section was surprisingly enjoyable. Jacob’s perspective adds clarity to wolf imprinting, pack hierarchy, and the Alpha dynamic in a way Bella’s POV never could. Seeing Bella from the outside was refreshing, and Edward reading Jacob’s mind was wild. Leah is exhausting, but her frustration makes sense as the only female wolf. Overall, Jacob’s POV adds depth and understanding to the story.

Ch. 1–7: The wedding-heavy opening felt overly happy and honestly a bit boring for the start of the final book. The honeymoon was fine, thankfully not explicit, but the real shift happens with Bella’s pregnancy. Suddenly there are questions even the Cullens can’t answer, which finally adds tension and mystery. So far it’s just okay, but I’m hoping Jacob’s POV shakes things up and gives the story new energy.
