this is an extremely cool world and i like hob a lot, i want to like mag but the naive vulnerable girl in distress role is always hard for me to spend time with, and i'm obsessed with the bone collector.

this feels like a partner book to metal from heaven, it's much MUCH less queer, but it's not aggressively straight either, and it's labeled as LGBT by goodreads so i'm guessing more is coming lol. it's definitely reminiscent of firefly in places (complimentary). and mag has thankfully gotten much more agency, i'm really liking her character now.
