I'm enjoying it so far. Started the book after watching the first season. It's definitely got some very dated views on women. Defaulting their perceptions by the main character as secretary or dental hygienist-like despite Roscoe being an officer. Has me eye rolling here & there. The author's setting descriptions are getting a bit too repetitive. Can skip over the repeats & just save us the time & page space lol

I stopped reading this series because of that. The stories are good. The characters are interesting. The whole womanizing thing is unnecessary and icky.
