Meyer is no Brontë, but the descriptions of love suffice. it's cute. now i really want to read something older though just because i like the way that the romantics can be so roundabout and so expressive. while meyer is just like "you are the most important thing to me now. to me ever" one of the brontës is like "his soul and mine are made out of the same material" like there's just something so beautiful in that.

That is such odd phrasing fr. Like yes there’s a unique feeling to being a girl hanging out with only other girls but I don’t think that constitutes as an “estrogen rush.”
