It was a bit long & some bits were a bit too descriptive & repetitive but it is very good at describing why, especially young men, get caught up in it. The character hears of Jews & anyone opposing the Nazi party being taken from the streets, disappearing & the camps being awful, in 1933! People being beaten & killed in the street by thugs who work for the government - sounds familiar to things happening today!
