Franzi’s Reviews > The Red Prince: The Life of John of Gaunt, the Duke of Lancaster > Status Update

im learning a lot about 14th century england and the early lancasters but this is just a love letter to john of gaunt 😭 im a historian too and i understand that it's sometimes hard to not fall in love with your subjects and that you want to defend them everywhere but i feel like we can also acknowledge that gaunt had his bad moments!
