I sorta feel like Kevin’s whiteness makes him truly unable to comprehend what it’s like for Dana. I’m not happy at him being jealous of her potentially being raped. Some of the language around Rufus’ rape of Alice and treatment of enslaved people seems off— like they’re “letting” him torture them, etc

This dynamic is really dark. Rufus (dog name, btw) forcing Dana to convince Alice to “let” him rape her. It’s just awful
