I’m kinda confused with what’s going on. So ebeneezer killed his brother (our protagonists (David) father (Alexander). He tried to kill him by making him fall down a staircase, and now he’s been kidnapped? But it’s okay because he’s gonna tell his life story to Mr Riach, a man onboard the ship he can trust only when he’s had a few drinks.
