‘Give you a good swift kick in the posterior’🤦🏼‍♀️. Do people really say that instead of using the word butt? Maybe this book is a little too formal for me too🤷‍♀️.

This might be too cozy for me? I am a little bored. Going to keep going though b/c I am too tired to start my paperback at the moment. And now I am confused about Lauren’s age. I had her pegged at least in her 50’s/60’s because of the voice the narrator has for her. But this scene makes it appear she is much younger. Not sure if her age was ever given, but my mental image needs to adjust now.

Slowly making my way through this. It’s not bad, but not holding my interest the way a dif series by this author has in the past .
