Re-reading it for the second time.
When watching the 2005 adaptation, I usually have only one real (non-superficial) complaint: that it moves too fast. But I’ve now read about seven pages of the novel, and Mr. Bingley has already fallen in love with Jane, and Mr. Darcy has already slighted Lizzy.
I think I withdraw my complaint.
