The entire Mines of Moria sequence was done so well!! Andy Serkis, in addition to his phenomenal voice work with all the characters, does some amazing voice special effects, to further immerse you into the action. I’d forgotten how nothing frightens Legolas until he spies the balrog. One of my favorite Middle Earth monsters!

Saw the Fellowship on the silver screen again last week, a 25th anniversary showing. I’ve never listened to the audiobooks, only read the books. Figured with Andy Serkis narrating, it’ll be an adventure!
