I really enjoyed the writing style in this, but the pacing and sequence of events leading up to them getting together fell flat for me. There wasn’t much intrigue in the development of their relationship, and it ended up feeling abrupt. It all seemed to happen out of nowhere, when those moments could’ve been used to build more tension.
