Not sure yet what I think of this book. The writing style fits the setting, which is great since this writing style didn’t fit in the last book I read, but there’s something slow and plodding about it. And, while slow and plodding, it is also intriguing and leading me onward.🤷♀️

I definitely agree! I found it somewhat slow but the writing style was quite lovely.

It’s a succinct way of writing. It’s not that it’s not good, it is, it just isn’t flowery. Sort of like MWT.
