I once read that if you’re mad at the characters, then it’s good writing because you’re really being sucked into the book.
But, if you’re mad at the mechanics, then it’s the writing that needs to edited.
I can tell you with absolute certainty, it’s the writing that needs to be edited in this book. I can’t even be mad at the characters I’m so distracted by the errors.
