Got the happy ending I was hoping for!

Just finished the last chapter and about to read the epilogue. I'm so happy Reinhardt is alive and that he really was a good guy after all, just working for the British, who knew! I'm so glad him and Coralie were able to reunite after all that time and see their dream come to life. Hoping they end up back together...

Coralie and Raven are now in Paris and they just made their way over to the Patisserie Resilience and Coralie sees the cafe name for the first time "Cafe de le Paix".....I AM FREAKING OUT! Please tell me Reinhardt survived and they are about to be reunited at last! I know he turned out to be working with the Abwheir but he loved her and I so want their romance to endure all.

Really hoping Reinhardt is working for the resistance!

Really enjoying this book so far. I’m always drawn to dual timelines, and stories centered on the Holocaust, WWII, and themes of resistance and resilience. The chapters are short and fast-paced, making it a true page-turner—and the main character is incredible so far. Excited to see where this goes.

I love how the book starts off with Coralie baking a dessert laced with arsenic to feed to the Nazis, what a way to kick things off!
