Decent chapter, it's cool that the story shifts for the POV of the show Rick Dalton is in. The plot is interesting enough for this to work, but not interesting enough to make me love a full chapter like this. Cool idea

Cliff would love Mr. Manson, this is hilarious. Can't wait to rewatch the movie and compare these to one another.

Mid chapter, Jim Stacey was a cool character to have a chapter about but I would've preferred more of his interactions over the back story and lore of the time. The final few pages with his 2 convos were much better.

The Sharon Tate stuff works way better in this book compared to the movie. This chapter with her seeing her own movie is much more interesting with the ideas going on in her brain for context, the film makes it seem forced, but this was great

The fight with Bruce Lee plays out a lot better here than in the film. It does a good job of explaining both of their mentalities.

Marabella is awesome, but this chapter was twice as long as it needed to be, most of the added context wasn't super interesting

The Manson stuff is probably my least favourite part of the film, however, this context was more interesting than expected

Got so immersed into this chapter that I forgot it's just the plot of an episode of a show Rick Dalton is going to be in. The way Tarantino cares about this material and every piece inside of it is actually insane, mostly in a good way to the point.

The in depth on all the characters like Polanski and Raymond (whoever tf that is) is getting to be a lot. However, it is an enjoyable read, just a little confusing and relies on your memory of the film. Also it just casually jumps time a lot in this chapter for no reason, like why did we reveal the ending and jump to Rick in the 70s for like 2 pages? I think I liked it but it certainly was odd.
