I’d definitely agree this isn’t a “depth” read at all, but I do think there are some themes discussing money grabbing explorative entertainment. But yes, basically a dumb fun read.

I'd agree - there is definitely a critique of exploitative, for profit entertainment which is thin at the moment but has gotten more in depth in the latter half of the book!
