The Overmind saga was okay if protracted. Utterly unreadable garbage since then, with Roy Thomas' embarrassing debut in 119 the nadir. Wokeness c. 1972 as Thing and Torch fight segregation in Africa. Ugh. The Gabriel issues pretty to look at but there's no story. It's obvious how much plotting heft Kirby brought to the table that Buscema just can't.
