Although he's not Andrew Tate, Galloway has earned all of the hesitant reviews and allusions to the manosphere.
It's strange because reading Notes on Being a Man gives me the same level of frustration I felt when reading Kara Swisher.
Kimberlé Crenshaw and Cathy Park Hong come to mind as books I'd like these two Pivot podcasters to read.

Galloway brings up well known statistics comparing male versus female human capital investment and loneliness. He feels that his two sons need to protect, provide, procreate. This is where his book is vastly inferior to Orenstein's Boys and Sex.
He continues to state his demographics (white/straight male). It's abundantly clear that he's not close to men of color.

Why did I start reading Scott Galloway's book? Peggy Orenstein's Boys and Sex is clearly the superior book. His latest video commentary from Davos was worst kind of Boomer humblebrag.
I am reading his book because my mentees are all men in the tech field. During my first years of college (and working), I used to dream about being a mentor to women. Plot twist. That's not my fate (at least for now).
