I had no idea death narrated this. In hindsight, it’s on the cover but I figured it was just a metaphor. Also the writing style is so unique, loving this. Shoutout Rudy and his obsession with Jesse Owens.

Also just turned the book around and on the back it quite literally says “this novel is narrated by death”
