New character unlocked. Also the Rudy screen time has gotten too low where is the boy

I had no idea death narrated this. In hindsight, it’s on the cover but I figured it was just a metaphor. Also the writing style is so unique, loving this. Shoutout Rudy and his obsession with Jesse Owens.

Also when I got this book at the thrift I didn’t realize half of the bottom of the pages were misprinted and can’t read them 😔
