I feel really bad for people who couldn’t understand what was happening in the book by this point or DNF’d for whatever reason at 60%… because they were SO 👏 CLOSE 👏 to learning the answers to at least half of this mystery. And the thing is, the god narrating the book SETS. THE. ANSWERS. UP. FOR. YOU! 😂

I was gripped by the synopsis both on the back of the book and on kindle. I should have read the first chapter or 50 pages in the store before I took the plunge on this one because it’s written in the second person. 😬 Two things took me a sec to get used to: 1) the way Leckie writes in general 2) trying to immediately figure out whose perspective was telling the story of the two characters first introduced…
