The sentences are long and drawn out, like this, and I am not used to reading with many commas so it was hard to pace myself at first but then I thought, is this not reading the way Arlo Guthrie talk-sings? So now it’s much easier & a little funnier for a book that is, I don’t think, intended to be amusing.
