That thing was definitely once human and it was buried in the mines a long, long time ago.

And like always in these sort of things they woke it up from whatever trance or hibernation it was in.

And it woke up angry and hungry.

Things like this always start with something being woken up in old mines. I mean, there's a reason for that, considering there's a lot of stuff buried in the Earth.

Pre-Thoughts: I've had this book on my Kindle for a couple of months now and like the rest I've added to my must read list this January I thought it was time to start it.

Also, I love the cover art. It's so strange and it reminds me of a Cicada for some reason, very spooky and very strange. I just love it.
