I really don't like these characters. The story is interesting but JUST barely enough for me to keep reading. The narrator of the audiobook is awful. Why is he shouting every single line??? It is so jarring and takes you out of the immersion so quickly because who freaking shout/whine talks EVERY LINE??

These two are the least tough people I have read in a while. Also I definitely pick fun at my husband's expense from time to time but their banter just doesn't seem .. lovey. More like mean college buddies. And the narrator is the WORST. His voices for the characters completely take me out of the immersion. I love the story, but at what cost 🙄
