While sheep can survive just about anywhere in Europe, the amount of wool they produce - and its quality - varies according to climate. In warm regions, their wool grows slow and thin. In cold regions, it grows fast and thick.

ive always wondered why english wool was such a big deal when there is plenty of sheep everywhere. mystery solved.
